Terms & Conditions
Standard terms of service and acceptable use for CSSential clients and website visitors.
1. Introduction & Acceptance
By accessing our website or engaging CSSential for digital services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the client or website visitor) and CSSential.
2. Our Services
CSSential provides bespoke web design, development, SEO, and digital consulting services. The specific scope, timeline, and deliverables for any project will be outlined in a separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work provided to the client.
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful project delivery, clients are expected to provide timely feedback, approvals, and necessary materials (such as text, images, and brand assets) when requested. Delays in providing materials may result in project timeline adjustments.
4. Payment Terms
Payment schedules will be detailed in the project proposal or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, projects typically require an initial deposit before work commences, with the remaining balance due upon project completion or defined milestones. Late payments may incur additional fees.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon final payment, the intellectual property rights to the final completed website design and codebase are transferred to the client, subject to any open-source or third-party licenses. CSSential retains the right to showcase the completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials.
6. Warranties and Liability
While we strive to deliver high-quality, bug-free solutions, we do not warrant that our services will be entirely error-free or uninterrupted. CSSential's liability for any claims arising out of our services is strictly limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches material terms. In the event of early termination by the client, CSSential is entitled to compensation for all work completed up to the date of termination.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
